A young Badagrian, Wheto Paul Sebayi has received the Don Etiebet Innovation Prize for producing the Best 2020 B.Sc Computer Science Project, organized by the Nigerian Computer Society (NCS) in Lagos, recently.
Reports revealed that the award is organized to encouraged students to engage more in producing innovative project that will promote technology in the society.
Speaking with CityMood Reporter, Wheto stated that he received the award as the best Computer Science Student in Lagos State to produce a good innovative project that will help reduce the spread of Covid-19 in tertiary institutions.
“The Don Etiebet Award has been in existence since 10 years ago, I received the 10th award as the best Computer Science student to produce a good innovative project that will reduce the spread of Covid-19 in our tertiary institutions,” he said.
“To my fellow undergraduates, no matter what you’re doing, please do it well because you don’t know when opportunity will seek after what you are doing. Ability to provide the best in what you’re doing will give you an outstanding result
“Hardwork and diligence pays. If nobody encourages you, please encourage yourself, when people see your result, they’ll celebrate you.” Wheto added.
Wheto Paul is a final year Computer Science Student of Lagos State University, from Toga-Mozumeh Compound, Badagry Lagos State.
