A twitter user @TheOluwatayo has dragged the Speaker of House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, on the condition of Lagos Badagry Expressway.
Following the 48-hour ultimatum issued by Gbajabiamila to the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio to substantiate his allegation that sixty percent of contracts awarded by the NDDC (Nigeria Delta Development Commission) went to members of the National Assembly, the twitter user has pleaded with the speaker to issue the same 48 hours ultimatum to stakeholders involved in the reconstruction of the Badagry Expressway.
The comment reads “Your Excellency Sir, please issue the same 48 hours ultimatum to @tundefashola, @FedRoadsNGR on the state of Lagos Badagry Expressway, we need that kind of ultimatum too, people are suffering sir”
The post generated several reactions from the speaker’s followers and several other users of the micro blogging site.
According to another tweet @EngrKenyVictor, “Mile 2 to Badagry is Lagos State Rejected area”
However, in the subsequent comments, people questioned the activeness of political leaders in Badagry, a comment @ronnixart reads “Badagry people, please you have Councillor, Chairman, House of Assembly member, House of Reps member, Senate member and Governor, question this people who are to cry for you”.
