A non-governmental organisation in Badagry, Lagos State, Teenage Girls Focus (TGF) on Saturday 16th December 2020 visited Hephzibah Orphanage Homes, donated food and other items as a sign of showing love to them.
This was made known in a press release issued by TGF Media team on Sunday 17th December 2020.
A member of TGF and initiator of the project, Obadua Bukola stated that December is a season known for demonstrating love to humanity, as this is the cause for initiating the project.
“Based on the fact that it is a season of love, I decided to do this to spread love to the kids and also to put a smile on their faces because seeing that kind of smile on them really gives me joy,” she said.
Also speaking, the Founder of TGF, Popoola Grace expressed that year 2020 has been a challenging year, coupled with Covid-19 pandemic and End SARS protest in Nigeria, noting that all these made it necessary to extend kind gesture to the less priviledged.
“This year has been faced with a lot of challenges ranging from Covid-19 to End Sars Protest. It has been a trying time. This is the season of love and I feel it should be shown to the motherless children to put smile on their faces and make them feel there are people who still care about them”. Grace said.
Reports revealed that items donated include indomie noodles, tissue papers, semovita, among others.
