The Lawmaker representing Badagry Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Asssembly, Hon. Setonji David, yesterday 11th November 2020, donated desks, chairs, whiteboards, writing materials, books, toiletries and first aid equipments to Local Authority Primary School (L A) ,State Junior and Senior High School, Ibereko Badagry ,Lagos State.
This was made known today in a press release signed by the Legislative Aide on Press and Media Affairs to the Lawmaker, Posu Davies
The statement revealed that Hon. Setonji David made the donation in fulfillment of the promise he made in August 2019, during his inspection to the schools, stressing the necessity for the items donated.
“I am here again to fulfill my words made on my visit last year. Today, the donations are into three categories for the three schools. This is necessary because I know that educational facilities are not enough for these children. It is my major concern and I will not stop at touching lives. I want you all to accept this project with love and keep praying for me because we have more to do. May the wisdom of God never depart from these children so we may eat the fruits of our labour. God bless Badagry.” He said
Reacting to the donation, the Education Secretary, Mrs Medinat Adedayo, Mr Yakub from State Junior High School and the Headteacher of LA Primary School Ibereko applauded the lawmaker and assured him of their full support for him.
