Samola Urges Commitment from Olorunda Neighborhood Watch

The Executive Chairman of Olorunda Local Council Development Area, Badagry, Lagos State, Hon. Samson Olatunde (SAMOLA), has urged the Lagos State Neighborhood Security Corps (LNSC), Olorunda Command to be committed to their work.

The Chairman stated this yesterday 9th November 2020, when he paid a courtesy visit to the Command.

This was made known in a press statement issued by the Media Aide to the Chairman, Farayola Joseph and cosigned by the Special Adviser on Information, Adeosun AbdulWahab.

Addressing the corps during the visit, Samola stated that commitment, dedication and security strategies to ensure protection of lives and properties of residents in the LCDA is expected from every member of the Corps, stressing that he will not tolerate any form of negligence and misconduct on the part of any Corps member.

“I am the Chief Security Officer of this LCDA and the government at the local level shall not tolerate any act of negligence, incapacity and underperformance from personnel in the Corps.

“We shall not hesitate to relieve any person who is not willing to serve diligently of his or her duty,” he said.

The statement also revealed that the Badagry Divisional Representatives of the Corps, Hon. Ronke Ogabi noted that some corps members have relented in discharging their official duties, which according to her would not be condoned by concerned authority, she also added that the Corps of Olorunda Command is under the moderation and regulation of the Council Chairman as the Chief Security Officer of the LCDA.
