Residents of Ije-Ododo, Iba Praises LASG on Road Projects

The Lagos State Government has been praised by the residents of Ije-Ododo community in Iba Local Council Development Area (LCDA) for approving a road to link Ijegun to Ije-Ododo and Abule-Ado area along the Lagos-Badagry expressway axis of the state.

The residents commended the efforts of the state government in granting their request by constructing a standard road to link other parts of the metropolis, thereby putting an end to their sufferings over the years.

Furthering, they explained that they do experience hard times commuting from Ije-Ododo to other parts of the city during rainy seasons, stressing that many usually leave their cars at home or in nearby cities while moving through the muddy waters on foot to get to their various destinations.

However, some of the property owners, whose houses and businesses fall on the Right of Way (ROW) of the proposed road project, have appealed to the government to consider their plights and shift grounds during the demolition of structures., pleading that the government should prevail on the contractor to give some concessions and spare parts of their property to cushion the effect of the project on them.
