The residents of Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government in Lagos State has showered praises on the chairman of the LGA, Hon. Fatai Ayoola for the ongoing rehabilitation of roads in Ajegunle.
The council chairman, Hon. Ayoola was at Ebun-Otti street on Sunday night in the company of the lawmaker representing Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal constituency, Hon. Musibau Kolawole Taiwo (HKT) to inspect the progress of the work.
According to him, “construction works would commence at Alayabiagba very soon as part of our promises to the people.”
Residents therefore expressed their happiness at the massive road repair in the community, stating that it is an indication of the rapid development at the grassroots the masses have long awaited.
Peter in Ebun-Otti street said: “I’m impressed by the effort of the government to keep our roads motorable.”
The councilor representing Ward F in the LGA, Hon. Akin Ojojo said the road repair by the chairman would make residents to become responsive positively to government’s policies.
“This reconstruction works is a good one by the Council Chairman and such would make residents to become positively reactive on government matters,” he said.
Reports gathered disclosed that the remaining part of road in Ebun-Otti street is expected to be completed before Tuesday next week.
