The Pioneer of RAK Foundation, Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende, has said that the organization would host a webinar conference in partnership with the United Nations on the 12th of August to celebrate 2020 International Youth Day.
This was contained in a statement released by the pioneer of the Non-Governmental Organization recently, disclosing the theme of the conference as “Youth Engagement for Global Action”
Mobolaji stated that the organization is happy to facilitate the International Youth Day and that the programme was instituted by the United Nations (UN).
“We are happy to facilitate the International Youth Day Live Webinar. The International Youth Day was instituted by the UN to bring awareness to the role of youth in shaping society. What the RAK Development Foundation has done through its structures of empowerment has been to liberate youth and empower them so that their ideas drive innovation within our community.” Mobolaji said.
He further added that the webinar is powered by the UN and RAK Development Foundation which primarily is for Badagry indigenes stressing that, the foundation has planned to invite two well experienced speakers – one foreign and the other African whose names are Michael Coogan and David Dookun respectively.
