Prophet, Accomplices Remanded for Alleged Killing of LASU Student

A prophet, Segun Philip, a mother, Bola Adeeko and her son, Owolabi Adeeko, on Friday 20th November 2020 were remanded for the alleged murder of a 400 level student of Lagos State University, Favour Daley-Oladele.

It would be recalled that the incident happened December last year after it was gathered that the deceased left home on December 8, 2019 and her parents did not see nor hear from her again.

Reports revealed that the trio were charged on two counts of conspiracy and murder contrary to Section 319 and 324 Criminal Code Laws Cap 34, Laws of Osun State.

Also recall that during the Walk Against Rape in Badagry which was staged by Badagry Women Development Forum in collaboration with RAK Foundation, Favour’s issue was brought to the fore and the foundations have reportedly been in support of the parents of the victim to ensure that justice prevails. Findings revealed that the victim’s mother is an indigene of Badagry, Lagos State.

The Nation online reports that the presiding Judge, Justice Grace Onibokun adjourned the case to the 3rd and 10th day of March 2021 and ordered that the trio be remanded in prison.
