
The Chairman of Oto-Awori Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Prince Musibau Asafa has emphasized on his commitment to the development of youth, women and construction of more roads in Year 2021 budget.
The Chairman, who reiterated on his target at the procurement and budget retreat recently in the area, stated that youths and women take a quantum percentage of those who needs government attention, adding that a community can develop if digital and media advantage is harnessed through the prowess of the youths.
“I am of the opinion that women and youths can grow the economy through their services and unrelentless energy”. He said
Prince Asafa further added that there is more to be done within the premises of the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR). “I am aware of your services and tirelessness as revenue collectors but we need to cover all loopholes to achieve more”.
“Our primary goal as public servants is to ensure people benefit more from government programmes and basic infrastructure, that is why we shall focus on health, economic empowerment and youth development.” The Chairman added.
According to him, it is important to note that part of the administration’s resolve is to bring meaningful development to the people through construction of roads and rural electrification.
