OSK, Supporters Decamp to APC, Declares Aspiration for LAHA 2023.

A popular young politician in Badagry aspiring to represent Badagry Constituency 1 at Lagos State House of Assembly, Oluwadamilare Samuel Kafisewon also known as OSK and his followers on Thursday, 18th November 2021 decamped to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) party.

OSK and his followers were received at Ward A, Olorunda Local Council Development Area, Iworo community, formerly Ward F of Badagry Local Government Area, by APC leaders and other party loyalists at the ward who came out en mass to honour the young man.

Speaking at the event, OSK appreciated God, the leadership of APC and party members for accepting them, noting that he desires to represent Badagry Constituency 1 at Lagos State House of Assemblly. He stressed that his aspiration is born out of passion to make Badagry a haven, adding that he believes in the greatness of the community.

“My staunch belief is in the peculiarity of the communities to thrive with the right constitutional backings, representation, hence, the #Rebirth Agenda. It is an agenda that drives inclusiveness.

“This Legislative Agenda is not about reinventing the will, it will not paint a fantasy but aims to create an enabling environment to ensure Badagry Constituency I serve as a point of attraction that drives all-around growth”. OSK maintained.

According to him, the #Rebirth Agenda is built on seven pillars which are: “Road Infrastructure; Education; Business & Economy; Inclusive Welfare; Re-open Consultation; Tourism and Housing”.

In his remark, a leader of APC at Ward F, Badagry Constituency 1, the new Ward A in Olorunda LCDA, Mr. Ishola Rasak stated that the party is elated for having him join the party, noting that the party needs people like him to channel a course for growth and development.

“You can notice joy & happiness in people, he is a very dear person to everyone. He is from a notable family and we want him to be among us. We have encouraged him to join the popular party of Lagos State and we are happy for him joining the party”. He said.

In the same vein, the Olori of Imeke Kingdom, who is also a leader in the party, Mrs. Temitope Felicia Ogabi said, “I am glad because he is one of our young men who is educated and vibrant, we believe that when people like him are put into position, he can bring growth and development to Badagry and Lagos State at large”.

Also speaking, the Councilor representing Ward A in Olorunda LCDA, Mr. Idowu Olasunkanmi in a chat with CityMood Correspondent at the event stated that the movement of OSK to APC is a good one, adding that people are happy and ready to support him.

It would be recalled that OSK ran for the Lagos State House of Assembly in 2019 on the platform of Labour Party and prior to that time, he was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party.
