- Projects Great Developmental Agenda for 2021

The Onimeke of Imeke Kingdom in Badagry, Lagos State, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abraham Olatunde Ogabi (JP) on Saturday 7th November 2020 commenced activities to mark his 5years anniversary, recounts the laudable landmarks achieved in the kingdom in the past five years.
This was made known by HRM during a press briefing on Saturday, marking the commencement of the celebration which is scheduled to hold from 7th – 15th November with different activities to commemorate the anniversary.The grand finale for the coronation anniversary is billed to take place on 14th November at Open Field by Gas Pipeline, Imeke, where entertainment of guests will take place.
Oba Abraham while speaking with the press stated that he has facilitated numerous developmental projects to the community during his reign, which in return has aided the well being of community members alongside attracting outsiders for investment.
“Imeke Kingdom has witnessed enormous growth which opens way for people to come into the town for investment. We have Elderly Home, the first in Badagry Division, a project by Lagos State Government which has been completed and commissioned.
“My greatest achievement so far is attaining the land title of the entire land of Imeke kingdom and registered at the land registry at Alausa, Ikeja as published by national dailies (Punch and The Nation) on Sept. 23. I have contributed my quota in respect of empowerment to the youths, widows and aged and I am not relenting.
“The Ajagun Market built by me will soon be open for business and I am fully ready to make it a modern market where all goods are available”. Oba Ogabi added.
Oba Ogabi further stated that Year 2021 has been earmarked for growth and developmental projects that will project the image of the community, Lagos State and the nation at large.
“It has become a norm and even customary for us to have a future projection for the development and radical transformation of our great kingdom. By the special grace of God, the coming Year 2021 is not going to be an exception. Our vision for the coming year is classic as it has economic values for the growth and development of not only Imeke Kingdom but also for the State and the country at large”. He said.
He therefore urged residents to live with love for one another and be law abiding, noting that the peaceful co-existence will further promote growth.
“Let us continue to show love as usual to one another and to settlers in our midst, let us be law abiding, let us see the security issue as the collective responsibility and equally strive towards participating in communal efforts aimed at enhancing modern and remarkable development in Imeke kingdom”. Oba Ogabi added.
