In a bid to empower the disabled in Badagry Local Government (BLG) Area, Lagos State, the Chairman of the Council, Mr. Olusegun Onilude has hosted a community dialogue with the concerned people in the Council Secretariat, yesterday, Tuesday 22nd September 2020.
Representing the Chairman, the Secretary of the LGA, Mr. Ajape Kamorudeen, encouraged the disabled not to look down on themselves.
He therefore urged the Ability in Disability NGO team led by Kokrannu Sewedo, to keep up with the initiative which aims at giving the disabled the representation they deserve and to empower them to be independent in industry, craft and artisanship.
