The Executive Chairman of Badagry Local Government Area, Mr. Olusegun Onilude, has pledged his administration’s support to the growth and development of Badagry youths, charging them to live as exemplary leaders who can impact the society positively.
Mr. Onilude made this pledge while addressing the youth of the region on Thursday 12th August 2021 through a statement issued by the Badagry LG Information Centre and made available to the media in celebration of the 2021 International Youth Day.
“International Youth Day celebrations comes up every 12th of August. It is a day set aside to mark the relevance of all youth in the globe. As we all know, the youth is an integral part of a nation’s population. They signify the strength, passion, resilience, and positive spirit for any nation to grow”. The statement reads.
The Chairman further challenged the youth of Badagry to see themselves as leaders and live to the expectations, by exemplifying themselves as ambassadors of the the community. He also assured them of his administration’s support toward their social and economic well being.
“On this day, Hon. Onilude Olusegun, Chairman, Badagry Local Government challenge the promising, intelligent, hard-working, and incorruptible youth population of our dear Local Government Area to see themselves as leaders and set positive examples that can promote a better society.
“The Council Boss assures the Youths of the support of his administration to their social and economic welfare as he wishes them a memorable International Youth Day celebration”. The statement added.
