… Appoints Avigbe Joshua as Director General, Sewedo Samuel as Spokesperson
The Executive Chairman of Badagry Local Government, Lagos State, Mr. Olusegun Onilude has officially kick started his re-election bid as Chairman of Badagry Local Government when he inaugurated members of the ONICO Campaign Committee on Monday 28th of December 2020.
The ONICO Central Working Committee chaired by Comrade Sedegla S. Pot-Balogun, made a release of people who have been carefully selected owing to their experience and involvement in grassroots politics. Appointed as the Director General of ONICO Campaign Committee towards the forthcoming Local Government elections is Mr. Avigbe Joshua and Hon. Taiye Towolawi as the Assistant Director General.
Other members of the Committee are Mr. Sewedo Samuel as the Head of Media, Hon. Yahaya Lateef as head of Secretariat, and Alhaja Risikat Padonu-Hassan as Women Leader. To also work as members of the committee are; Mr. Toyi Philip, Mrs. Sewede Pot-Balogun, Mrs. Aina Anifowoshe, Dr. Saka Rahman, Mr. Senihenwa Pot-Balogun and Barr. Wusu Setome.
The Chairman of the Central Working Committee charged the aforementioned individuals to deliver the mandate and urged them to adhere strictly to the rules and regulations as stipulated by the independent electoral body conducting the election.
“We have carefully selected individuals with passion for Badagry’s development who believe in the ideology of our symbol, Hon. Onilude Olusegun. Our strategy is to carry everybody along and not to leave any stone unturned, that is why we are inaugurating Ten Wardard Coordinators to also work as members of the campaign committee” Comrade Sedegla said.
While giving an acceptance speech on behalf of the committee, Mr. Avigbe Joshua said the committee members are ready to give their best to ensure the re-election of Mr. Onilude Olusegun.
