The Executive Chairman, Badagry Local Government Area (LGA), Lagos State, Hon. Olusegun Onilude, yesterday, 8th October 2020 hosted the New Badagry Division Correctional Service Boss, ACC Sanni Ojo Richard at the council secretariat.
The visit was aimed at familiarization of the new boss, ACC Sanni Ojo with the Chairman thereby promoting mutual working environment.
During the visit, the Chairman applauded the Predecessor of the Service Centre, assuring the new Boss that he will pay a visit to the centre.
“Change of name from prison to Correctional Center is pleasant especially the arrangement of schools for inmates at the centres”. He said.
He therefore charged the Service to live up to the change of name, adding that people should come out of the centre and be better persons.
Responding, ACC Sanni Ojo said, “There are schools for Medium prisons and National Open University for Maximum prison, Workshops and Computer Training are put in place as well.”
