NBF Launches Digital Training Course

New Badagry Forum (NBF) in partnership with Dooke Innovation Centre today, 1st October 2020, officially launches a Digital Training Course for 60 Youths in Badagry, Lagos State to mark the celebration of 60th independence anniversary of the country.

The Aremo of Iworo kingdom, Prince Olu Kosoko who is also the Chairman of the forum while speaking at the launching of the training at Dooke Innovation Centre, stated that the training is focused on leadership and grass root training of Badagry youth, stressing that the vision of the programme is to promote the Badagry youth.

Prince Kosoko pointed out that Badagry youth cannot compete with their counterpart out there digitally, noting that the programme is aimed at bridging the gap through creative mindset and innovation.

The Project Coordinator of the programme, Mr. Opeyemi Oke while speaking highlighted that, digital training goes beyond the grass root level, emphasizing that the platform is to build youth that would hold the digital aspect of the world.

Mr. Oke further revealed that the programme is aimed at building other sectors in the economy of Badagry such as the tourism affairs, marketing among others, thereby enabling youth in the division to be self reliant.

CityMood Reporter gathered that the training will run intensively for a period of 2weeks in two batches due to the Covid- 19 pandemic protocol. The portal for registration is opened from today 1st to 14th of October, 2020 and would be admitting a total number of 60 youths in Badagry. Below is the portal for registration
