Lagos State Government has postponed the commissioning of the Affordable Housing Scheme and the Maternal and Child Care Centre in Badagry by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu earlier scheduled for Friday 11th December 2020 due to some urgent official matters.
This was revealed in press release issued by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy ,Gbenga Omotosho on Thursday.
“Mr. Governor was billed to open the 252 units of two-bedroom bungalows, as well as the 110-bed Maternal and Child Care Centre in Badagry on Friday, December 11, 2020. He was also billed to flag-off the reconstruction of Hospital Road in Badagry.
“Due to the strategic importance of Badagry and the projects to the administration’s T.H.E.M.E.S Agenda, Governor Sanwo-Olu has decided to personally open the facilities at a date to be announced soon.” The statement reads.
