KAPPO PROMISES BETTER WELFARE FOR CHILDREN

Barr Emmanuel-Sunday Kappo

A prominent aspirant for the office of the Badagry Local Government Chairman under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Barr. Emmanuel-Sunday Kappo has sent a goodwill message to children in the council area on the occasion of the 2021 edition of the International Children’s Day.

“Our children are our heritage. Their future and welfare is our concern… We will take care of our little children within the community”. Barr. Kappo said.

Barr. Kappo who joined the race for the chairmanship candidate ticket of the All Progressives Congress in Badagry Local Government Area of Lagos State has since become the most formidable contender with the incumbent Chairman who is also seeking re-election.

Kappo’s campaign is hinged on a one point agenda “to offer governance that benefits largest number of people in Badagry, through strategic conversion of untapped tourism potentials in Badagry to functional mega tourism centre of international repute”.

The International Children’s Day is a commemorative day celebrated annually in honour of children across many countries of the world on every 27th day of the month of May.
