The growth and development of any society is usually anchored on the type of leadership capacity the community posses. This is the case of Iworo town in Olorunda Local Council Development Area of Badagry, Lagos State.
The four years reign of the Oniworo of Iworo Kingdom, HRM, Oba Friday Kosoko has turned the costal town to a community that is experiencing drastic development with the hope of turning the town to a home of investment in Badagry Division, as the town is positioned for landmark investment across major sectors.
Recent reports show that the leadership of Oba Friday Kosoko has brought about series of developmental projects to the town with huge prospects and potentials to attract investors from far and near.
The community is now primed for investors to come in, due to the remarkable infrastructural facilities that has been put in place. An enabling environment is usually a driving force for growth and development, Iworo has been placed on this pedestal, so local and foreign investors are invited by the monarch to seize the huge opportunities and resources available to cue into the developmental plan of the town.
The Aremo of the Kingdom, Prince Olu Kosoko “believe Iworo, Badagry would be one of the most investable town in Badagry with all these infrastructures within 4years of @hrmoniworo on the throne”.
Among the landmark achievements of the king within the space of four years that has positioned the town for investment opportunities are: Iworo police station (security), Primary Health Center Iworo (health), FGN/Southwest Zonal Model College (Education), School of Aviation(Education), Solar Energy Centre(Electricity), Waterfront Access (Tourism), Street Light & Tarred Road (Infrastructures), Royal Estates (Accommodation) and Beach Front Resort (Hospitality).
Prince Olukoso said the reign of the king has brought the rejuvination of some tourist attractions in the town such as: Daaji Stream, Ajagun Shrine (Founder of Iworo), Ogun Ajobo and Iseki Shrine. There is no gainsaying that the community is prepared for investors both corporate organizations and individuals.
Also, the availability of expansive land mass, beautiful beach fronts and irlands, receptive residents and raw materials makes the town an investment haven of first choice.
