Hunpe Promises FG Intervention on Infrastructures in NFLV Badagry

The lawmaker representing Badagry Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Babatunde Hunpe has promised Federal Government intervention on dilapidating infrastructures in Nigerian French Language Village Badagry, Lagos State on Friday, 11th September, 2020.


This was made known in a press statement released by the Head of Media Team, Hon. Sunday Oke.

The statement reveals that, Hunpe who paid a courtesy visit to the school, was welcomed by the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the village, Prof Lateef Babatunde Ayeleru.


“Hunpe had written to the Ministry of Education on the need of the instructions in attaining its goals.

“The lawmaker also promised to facilitate projects that will develop the institution.

“Speaking, Prof. Ayeleru commended the lawmaker for creating time out of his busy schedule to visit the institution.” The statement reads.

According to the statement, the Director General informed the lawmaker that the letter he wrote to the Hon Minister of Education had yielded results, which is about to aid development in the school.

“On the issue of Permanent Campus of the village, he appealed to the lawmaker to help facilitate the proper documentation of the land allocated to the institution with the state government.

“The Director General of the village used the occasion of the visit to confer an honorary award of Fellow of the Nigeria French Language Village on the MHR and promised that the lawmaker would soon be decorated and the lawmaker is the first to be confer with the honorary award of Fellow of the village.

“Ayeleru, however, took Honorable Hunpe round the campus to see some dilapidated building of the institution and the structure the Director General put in place at the institution within the shortest period he assumed office.” The statement added.
