High Chief Mobee Organizes Prayer Session for Gov. Sanwoolu, Oba Akiolu, Others

A notable White Cap Chief in Badagry, Lagos State, High Chief Patrick Yedenu Mobee, on Sunday 15th November 2020 hosted Badagry religious leaders and his cabinet members in his palace to offer prayers for the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwoolu, Oba Rilwan Akiolu of Lagos, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Badagry Local Government Area as a whole.

In his opening remarks, High Chief Mobee stated that the prayer was necessary because it was only by the mercy of God that the Governor was able to deal with Covid-19, EndSARS protest and hijacking of the protest by hoodlums in the state.

The High Chief, who commiserated with Governor Sanwoolu, Oba of Lagos and Asiwaju Tinubu on recent happenings in the state, stressed that the Governor has tried a lot for Lagos with what he has done in the past and what he is doing presently.

“I want us to pray for our Governor, Babajide Sanwoolu and to pray for his executive members because one person cannot do it alone. I also want us to pray for our National Leader, Asiwaju Tinubu Jagaban, and my father, His Royal Majesty Babatunde Rilwan Akiolu the Oba of Lagos State, what he has experienced in Lagos State, he will never experience such again in Jesus name. I pray that God will continue to lead all the leaders in Lagos State” He said.

High Chief Mobee also used the medium to appeal to the Governor to facilitate quick repair of the Lagos-Badagry Expressway.

“I appeal to the Governor of Lagos State to help us in repairing our road in Badagry as it is very bad,” he added.

Also speaking, the Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Badagry Chapter, Pastor Samuel Hunyinbo noted that it is the mercy of God that kept Lagos State till date, stressing that the High Chief has a good point for organizing the prayer session.

“We are happy to be in the presence of God in the palace of Chief Mobee, the situation of our country needs prayer, it was by the grace of God that Lagos State was not consumed and the spirit of God put it right in the mind of the High Chief to organize this prayer as thanksgiving to God and to further call on God for what he will do in Lagos State in general,” he said.

“I will encourage the Lagos State Governor to continue to do his best because I can see the commitment to take Lagos State to a greater height in him.” Hunyinbo added.
