Few days after turning 60, the Argentina football legend, Diego Maradona has died after suffering from a heart attack at home.

Reports say that the Argentinian football legend who was one of the greatest players on the football pitch, died two weeks after having a surgery to remove a blood clot in his brain.

The Argentine news outlet Clarin broke the news on Wednesday afternoon UK time, describing the news of Maradona’s passing as having a ‘worldwide impact’.

The sad news which was confirmed by Maradona’s lawyer, soon had tributes pouring in from people all over the world.
