A young aspirant for the House of Representatives, Badagry Federal Constituency, on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Prince Sesi Whingan has said the absence of good teaching-learning environment makes leaning inconducive, hence, teachers and learners suffer the experience.
The aspirant and philanthropist stated this during the handing over of a block of classroom completed by his Foundation, the Sesi Whingan Foundation, to the management of Iragon-Thogli Secondary School in Badagry Local Government Area of Lagos State.
According to a press statement issued by his media team, “Hon. Sesi had responded to the call of the elders and stakeholders of Iragon-Thogli community to come to their aid by taking up the project. He did not hesitate their call citing that studying in a comfortable environment makes learning impactful”.
Prince Whingan said, “The teaching-learning experience suffers when both teachers and the learners are not in a relaxed atmosphere through which the experience takes place.
“The completion of the school building indicates the readiness of the leading aspirant to judiciously use taxpayers’ money to the benefit and development of the constituent he represents.
“It would be recalled that the State Government in a letter dated 6th December 2020, appreciated Prince Sesi Whingan for taking up the completion of a school building consisting of classrooms, a principal’s office, and a staff room. It is with joy that we announce the completion of the building and handing over to the school authorities for use”. The statement reads in part.
