Bonu Officially Unveils Aspiration to Run for Lagos House of Assembly

The Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mr. Bonu Solomon has declared his intention to contest for the Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA) post, representing Badagry Constituency 1 in the forthcoming 2023 General Elections.

Bonu made the official declaration during the Apex Leaders Forum meeting of APC, Badagry West which held recently in the area, noting that it is important he commence the political race from home before reaching out to other parts of the constituency.

He therefore appealed to the leaders to give him all the necessary support, while assuring them he will not fail the Constituency.

Responding to the declaration, the Executive Chairman of Badagry West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mr. Gbenu Henugbe, who was the host, expressed delight over the candidacy of Bonu, saying he has proved his worth working with the Governor of Lagos State by facilitating laudable state projects to the area.

Corroborating the assertions of the host, a former Secretary of Badagry West LCDA, Mr. Ade Agoro affirmed that Bonu is best for the job has Badagry Central as occupied same position for over 15 years.
