Badagry’s Anago Wins Best Tour Guide in Nigeria

 

One of Badagry’s foremost tourist guide, Mr. Anago James Osho has emerged the winner of the Best Tour Guide Award in the Nigeria Tourism sector during the Nigeria Travel Week held in Abuja recently.

Mr. Anago while receiving the award in Abuja expressed his gratitude to Badagry tourist sector for the support and encouragement

The Award is a climax of the Nigeria Travel Week and it is also known as the Balearica Awards which honours outstanding tourism stakeholders over the last 12 months. The Balearica is named and designed after the Crowned Crane. The Black Crowned Crane was proposed to be the national bird of Nigeria around 1985, even though it is not very clear how and why it was changed to the eagle.

On the same note, Mr Anago was also inducted into the 100 Tourism Personalities in Nigeria in reciprocation to his exploits in tourism sector in the nation.

In his respose, he dedicated the award to Badagry in appreciation of their support which led to the achievement he has recorded so far. “This is dedicated to Badagry”. He said.
