The Lagos State Government (LASG) has officially flagged off the Conditional Cash Transfer initiative of the Federal Government yesterday, Tuesday 4th August 2020 in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area.
According to reports, the initiative was designed in such a way that each of the beneficiary household in Lagos State receives the sum of N10, 000 for the months of May and June 2020.
The initiative was flagged off by the Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Mrs. Yetunde Arobieke and top federal government functionaries in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area.
The Commissioner applauded the efforts of the Federal Government, through the National Social Safety Nets Coordinating Office under the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, for their support in the establishment of the cash transfer unit in Lagos State.
