
A non-governmental organization, Olu Kosoko Foundation in collaboration with Rotary Club of Eko Atlantic, Nigeria is set to launch a free medical check-up for 1000 residents in Badagry Local Government, Olorunda and Badagry West Local Council Development Areas on Friday 20th November 2020.
This was revealed in a press release signed by the project lead of Olu Kosoko Foundation, Prince Olu Kosoko recently.
The health program which is tagged ‘Rotary Family Health Day in Badagry’ is aimed at bringing grassroot health service to 1,000 people in Badagry.
“The free health program is to provide free health services, free consultations and free check-ups. It is presumed that the wellness of any citizens determines growth of any community, state and nation at large.
“The program’s mission is to bring grassroot health services to the people of Badagry with a trajectory of about 1000 (One Thousand) persons.” The statement reads.
For easy access, the free check-up is scheduled to hold on two days at different locations.
Day One: 8am to 5pm on Friday 20th November 2020 at Badagry Town Hall, Badagry, Lagos State (For Badagry Central & West Participants)
Day Two: 8am to 5pm on Saturday 21st November 2020 at Mosafejo Town Hall, Olorunda, Badagry, Lagos State (For Olorunda LCDA Participants)
“The session intend to provide support and advisory activities to the participants for a comprehensive health care or health surgenty when necessary.
“We hope to achieve a good degree of health awareness and soft medical treatments at the end of the programs.” The statement added.
